We headed out to the Adventure Center of Nashville a bit earlier than we needed to. We decided to find a nearby park to eat a quick picnic lunch and enjoy some outdoor time before heading to the ropes course. When I looked for someplace on the map I found the nearby Warner Parks.
Our first stop was the Warner Park Nature Center a Natural History Museum with many interesting exhibits and information about plants, animals and the world we live in. The exhibits are displayed beautifully in the Museum Center. Outside in the yard of the Nature Center is the Nature Play Area an enclosed area with activities for children all made from nature and trees.
Edwin Warner Bellevue Road Playground was our next stop where we enjoyed our lunch at one of the picnic tables adjacent to the playground structure. The children enjoyed climbing on the various elements and swinging on the swings. The playground is not very large. There are some benches on the side and a walking path around the perimeter of the park.
