Fannie Mae Dees Park is a neighborhood park in Nashville most famous for the sea serpent, also known as the huge dragon, a sculpted structure that children are keen on playing by. The sea serpent was a project of collaboration between the West End Neighborhood Association and the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation. The dragon is decorated in many colors of crushed glass and is very attractive.
In addition to the dragon there is quite a sizeable playground and a tennis court. The many picnic tables scattered around as well as a shelter with many picnic tables under the roof.
